TITLE:                    Associate Consultant

DURATION:          One-year employment contracts are being signed, subject to 3/6-month probation upon hiring
LOCATION:           Tbilisi, Georgia

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Associate Consultant is a professional position involved in implementation of advisory works. He/she is supervised by the Team Leader and reports to him/her on a regular basis on advancement of the assignment, compliance with the planned timetable of the engagement, completion of different stages, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Team Leader and Engagement Partner in planning and budgeting for the assignment;
• Conduct market research, site visits, desk research within the scope of various advisory assignments;
• Before every new engagement obtain business knowledge and understanding and for existing clients update already available information;
• Compile the assigned portions of the reports, and review according to comments and feedback from Senior Consultants, Engagement Partner and the client;
• Communication with clients’ staff within the framework of advisory works.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

• University degree in Finance/Accounting, Economics or STEM;
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the area of business advisory – transaction support, corporate finance, valuations, etc;
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
• Good command of English language (verbal and written);
• Commitment to obtain professional certifications in accounting, valuation and finance;
• Demonstrated interest in self-development and ability to learn;
• Good verbal and written communication and reporting skills;
• Analytical skills;
• Creative thinking;
• Excellent aptitude of team work;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• Professional appearance and behaviour;
• Readiness to work over-times when required;
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town engagements.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCES:

• Participation in professional certification programs (ACCA, CFA ) is highly desirable;
• Demonstrated academic excellence and strong academic credentials;
• Language skills: knowledge of Russian is an advantage.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY:

Highly competitive and flexible, depending on a candidate’s skills and experience, individually negotiated.
